Tom Lawhorn

Tom Lawhorn is the creator of SelfOS and HerOS — a behavioral framework built on pattern recognition, emotional regulation, and intentional living. He is the host of the SelfOS podcast and the author of Break the Pattern.

Tom spent years studying behavioral psychology, neuroscience, and Stoic philosophy — not as academic interests, but as tools for solving a problem he was living: the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

The SelfOS framework emerged from that gap. It is not theory. It is the result of applying what works — in real moments, under real pressure, in the middle of triggered reactions and unconscious patterns — and building it into a structure that can be learned, practiced, and installed.

HerOS came from listening. The patterns women navigate — performance, people-pleasing, self-worth, boundaries — are real, specific, and underserved by most personal development content. HerOS brings the SelfOS framework to those patterns explicitly, with its own voice and depth.

Tom’s work is grounded in a single mission: help people recognize unconscious patterns, interrupt automatic reactions, and install better ways of living. Not as philosophy. Not as motivation. As a practice.
